March Tarot: Wisdom, Judgment, and Fucking Shit Up

Decks: Centennial Smith-Waite and Earthbound

Every month of the year has a different flavor to it. Lots of it is seasonal, but we also tend to do a little mental reset when the 1st rolls around.

I like to capture this every month in my personal tarot practice by doing a spread. It’s not exactly fortune-telling, it’s more like an assessment of the vibes to pay attention to. Things to focus on, ideas to help set goals, and reminders to check in with my mental state.

It’s useful, and as I learn more about tarot I find it’s worth sharing. So, this is the inaugural post of my monthly tarot forecast series: an insight into the hidden themes of my clips, and an assignment of sorts. Think of this as an order from your Domme to carry these ideas through your entire month, and see what happens.

Enough with the preamble. Let’s get to the cards!

Decks: Centennial Smith-Waite and Earthbound

Wisdom

This is a deck I’m particularly fond of called Earthbound Oracle Deck. The concepts are broad and pithy, so it allows you to run with your intuition and think how the card applies to you.

There isn’t much to say about “wisdom” here; it’s incredibly subjective. But that’s the point. In what ways are you wise, and are you in touch with them?

The Knight of Wands

Knights are in pursuit of a mission. They represent bringing an idea out into the world, and in this case, we’re looking at your passions. Your goals, your willpower, your personal development.

The Knight of Wands is a fearless character, and as the year starts to get fully under way, this card is telling us to step forward and get our hands on what we really want.

Judgement

A very dire-looking card, but I don’t go in much for religious narratives. I spent a lot of time with Judgement last year, and to me it is always a wake-up call to take inventory of who you are trying to be.

Every single one of us has a voice that tells us we could be doing something differently. Sometimes it’s a nag, and sometimes a comfort, but in both cases it’s an indicator that you’re due for a rebirth.

In summary

I don’t really do New Years’ Resolutions in a formal sense, but when the new year rolls around I always have some idea of how I want it to look.

It takes a while to bring these things into action. The past two months were about figuring out your goals, then figuring out how to put them into action. Now, it’s time to move.

Often, after I finish an induction, I ask people if they have anything they’d like to tell me before I start the trance proper. Your subconscious mind knows what it wants, and it’s constantly tugging at you to pay attention to those. Sometimes it only comes out in dreams, therapy, or hypnosis, but it’s always simmering under the surface. Even when you’re not paying attention to it.

So, your assignment for the month is to pay attention. Listen to that undercurrent asking for change. Once you finally hear it, ask yourself: “Is this something I want, or does someone else want it for me?”

Respect your own judgement. Listen to your inner wisdom. And for fuck’s sake, go work on something that makes you feel alive. So sayeth Me.
